Dancing Spectators is a project that involves 20 active and participating spectators, aged 18 and over, who will be able to attend the Danza in Rete Off – section of the Festival Danza in Rete 2020 in Vicenza – with a personalized path, and with the possibility, only for those who wish, to become protagonists of the Festival.
The project includes a cycle of meetings as guide for the shows led by Jennifer rosa, some (optional) master classes with the artists of the Festival and the opportunity to experience the creative process of the dancers, documenting the experience in the dedicated blog.
For those who wish, there is also a workshop conducted by the collective Jennifer rosa on 28 and 29 March at the Spazio Voll in Vicenza, for a public performance scheduled on April 19 at 5 pm in Piazzetta Garibaldi in Schio.
The call
Tell, in the way you prefer (writing, video, photography, drawing or other) how dance as a spectator or as a dancer has changed the perception of the world at least once in your life.
Send the material by February 23 to segreteria@tcvi.it with a short motivation letter (max 1000 characters, spaces included).
The best 20 works will be selected and the authors will become Dancing Spectators of the Danza In Rete Festival. For more than two months they will have the right to discounts on the festival’s performances and to in-depth meetings and guide to viewing the shows. The 20 dancing spectators will be selected by Feb 25.
